Hi, I'm Uri Cohen. I live in Denver, CO and own the 1962 Buick Special that Denver is drawing. I love cars in general, but in my opinion My car is the best! I look forward to becoming part of this awesome community. Now on to an update with my "Special" car.
The carburetor plug fell out, but upon further inspection I realized the previous owner repaired the carb crappily. So, I know I really dont need to right now but, I'm gonna do a rebuild. Denver is gonna help. Here is some photos of the damage

Welcome aboard! Looks like you definitely have something going on on the passenger side in addition to that plug. Is it the sight plug for the float? I am not familiar with early 60's Buick carbs.

Is it a 198 Fireball V6 or a 215 V8?

Welcome! Aaaand a little question if you don't mind. I assume that you are about Denver's age, and most people with vintage cars drive their childhood heroes so to speak, which would put you into an 80s car or something. So how come this Buick? Was it in the family, or did you just fall in love with it?

The plug came out so just need a new one until I rebuild the carb.

I have the Rover V8 that's a slightly updated version of that. My particular one is a 4.2, so 261. In the process of preparing to rebuild mine, I've learned a lot about them in general, so if you have any questions that aren't the fuel system, hit me up.
